榆林市科技局（榆林市外国专家局）关于防控“新冠肺炎”疫情致在榆外国专家的一封信

亲爱的外国专家朋友们：

Dear foreign experts and friends,

新年好！感谢大家不远万里，来到榆林、支持榆林，感谢你们对榆林经济社会发展做出的积极贡献！近期，湖北武汉等全国各省市都相继发生了新型冠状病毒（2019-nCoV）感染的肺炎疫情。针对此次疫情，陕西省也及时启动了突发公共卫生事件一级应急响应。在进入返榆返岗高峰期的关键时刻，为防控疫情，现向在榆林的各位外国专家及用人单位提出如下建议：

Happy Chinese New Year! Thank you for your long journey to Yulin to support Yulin and for your positive contribution to the economic and social development of Yulin. Recent time saw the outbreak of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) pneumonia in Wuhan, Hubei Province and other provinces. Shaanxi Provincial Government has activated Level I public health emergency response. At the critical moment of the peak period of returning to work in Yulin, in order to prevent and control the epidemic, we now put forward the following suggestions to foreign experts and your employers in Yulin.

一、做好日常防护

Please do well in your daily protection

2019新型冠状病毒（2019－nCoV）可在人与人之间传播。请做好以下日常防护：

The 2019－nCoV can be transmitted from person to person Please follow these instructions to protect yourself in your daily life

1.疫情防控期间，尽量减少外出，避免参加现场研讨会、学术交流会、聚会等集体活动。如必须外出，务必正确佩戴口罩并及时洗护消毒；

2.居家、工作时保持开窗通风，勤洗手，定期消毒；

3.避免与发烧和咳嗽的人密切接触；

4.避免食用生的或未煮熟的动物产品；

5.做好个人与家庭成员的每日体温监测。

During the epidemic prevention and control period, you should reduce unnecessary outing, avoid attending on-site seminars, academic seminars, gatherings and other collective activities. If you have to go out, please wear a mask correctly, and wash and disinfect it and your hands in time.

Please keep the ventilation of your living rooms, working places, please wash your hands frequently and disinfect regularly.

Please avoid close contact with people with fever or cough.

Please do not eat raw or undercooked animal products.

1.5 Please have a daily temperature monitoring for you and your family members.

二、感到不适，应该怎样做？

1.联系您在国内的雇主或朋友，告诉他们您的状态；

2.根据病情，及时就医，并尽量避免乘坐公共交通工具；

3.主动告诉医生自己在相关疾病流行地区的旅行居住史，以及发病后接触过的人员情况，配合医生开展相关调查。

2.1 Contact your Chinese employer or friends and tell them about your status.

2.2 According to your status, please see a doctor in time and try to avoid taking public transportations.

2.3 Please tell the doctor about your recent ravel and living history especially in relation to epidemic-stricken areas,and people you have contacted since the onset of the disease. Please cooperate with the doctor to carry out the relevant investigations.

三、保持通信畅通

3. Keep yourself reachable via phone or email

疫情期间，请务必保持电话或邮件等通信渠道畅通。请用人单位密切关注本单位外籍人士身体健康和外出情况（假期离榆人员，按照防控指挥部要求，统一暂缓返榆。确因工作需要返榆的须严格履行程序，报批备案），并及时提供相关工作便利和后勤支援保障。

Please make sure your communication channels such as telephone or email are always available and reachable.The employers should pay attention to the physical health and outing schedules of foreign employees.(According to the requirements of the 2019-nCoV Pneumonia Prevention and Control Department, the foreign personnel who left Yulin during the holidays should be suspended from returning to Yulin. But because of work needs, foreign personnel who have to return to Yulin must strictly perform the procedures of returning to Yulin for approval and filing. The employer should provide relevant work convenience and logistical support in a timely manner.
